Expert Embedded Android Developer

We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer to strengthen our engineering team!

What you'll be doing?

In this role, you will:

• Analyze product requirements and translate them into clear specifications and architectural designs
• Work within a dedicated Scrum team on innovative software solutions
• Develop both back-end logic and modern user interfaces
• Optimize performance, robustness, and system resource usage
• Collaborate closely with testers to identify open issues
• Track and resolve bugs with high-quality fixes
• Deliver clear and structured documentation
• Contribute to planning by estimating workload and development efforts

Your profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a software-related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong programming expertise in Kotlin and C++
• Experience with embedded software/firmware development on Android
• Experience in Android application development
• Experience with embedded Linux is a plus

Additional experience that would be a strong asset:

• Python
• Android low-level OS (MDEP knowledge is a big plus)
• APK development
• Android internals
• Linux low-level OS
• Network communication (TCP/UDP)
• Multithreading & thread safety
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, …)
• Git/SVN, CI/CD, TDD, automation
• Video/Audio processing, codecs, OpenGL, GStreamer, Qt, Android media framework, camera2 API
• Security
• DevOps & infrastructure

• Remote: 1-2 days on-site
