Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist – Pricing & Forecasting | Amsterdam

We are looking for Machine Learning Engineers / Data Scientists to join a Growth & Marketing product team working on price optimization and forecasting solutions used globally.

You’ll help develop price elasticity models, quantity forecasting, and price optimization algorithms, supporting pricing strategies across multiple countries. This is a hands-on role covering the full ML lifecycle, from experimentation to production deployment.

Location: Amsterdam

Onsite: 2–3 days per week

Contract: Fixed-term employment contract - Valid till 31 Aug 2026 + possibilities of extensions

Key responsibilities

• Build and deploy production-grade machine learning models
• Develop price elasticity and demand forecasting models
• Support and improve price optimization algorithms
• Work closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Analysts, and Software Engineers
• Apply ML models to real-world business problems at global scale
• Participate in model lifecycle activities including development, testing, and deployment

Key requirements (must-haves)

• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying production ML systems
• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Strong data manipulation skills using SQL
• Proven experience deploying models end-to-end
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with forecasting models or price optimization
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Background in pricing, retail, or marketing analytics
