Job Title: UX/UI Designer

Location: Remote

Band of Coders is a dynamic and innovative company that delivers exceptional digital experiences to our clients. Our team values creativity, collaboration, and user-centered design to create impactful solutions. We are looking for a talented and passionate UX/UI Designer to join our team.

We are seeking a Part-Time UX/UI Designer to help shape user experiences and interfaces for our digital products. This role is perfect for a creative individual with a strong sense of design, attention to detail, and a passion for improving user journeys. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing designs that align with our brand and meet our users' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User Research: Conduct user research to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors, translating insights into actionable design solutions.
  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, storyboards, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Visual Design: Develop high-fidelity UI designs, adhering to brand guidelines and ensuring visual consistency across all platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and seamless implementation.
  • Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests to gather feedback and refine designs based on user insights.
  • Design Systems: Maintain and enhance the company's design system to ensure scalability and consistency.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
  • (Bonus) Experience with basic front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
