Senior Node.js Software Engineer (Forge)

Our client is a dynamic software powerhouse that delivers top-tier application and server management solutions for both physical and virtual platforms. Renowned for addressing real-world challenges such as performance monitoring, backup, recovery, security, compliance, and administration, they boast award-winning products and a global customer base of over 11,000, headquartered in Houston, Texas.

In cooperation with our client, we focus on migrating a widely-used test management add-on to a cloud-native app development platform.

This project enhances the tool's capabilities, addressing the needs of security-sensitive enterprises by ensuring zero egress for seamless transitions to isolated cloud environments, thus boosting test case management, execution, requirements traceability, and reporting efficiency.

IF YOU ARE

• Experienced with 5+ years of track record in Node.js
• Strong in TypeScript
• Knowledgeable of any Atlassian Apps
• Skilled in Jira API
• Adept at developing highly available enterprise web applications using state-of-the-art front-end web technologies
• Proficient in REST and capable of building robust REST APIs
• Versed in MongoDB and its application in web development
• Aware of AWS stack applications and services
• Confident with CI and CD tools
• Effective as a team player with excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Skilled in CLI operations and familiar with command-line interfaces, e.g. Forge (nice to have)
• Knowledgeable of WebUI development, specifically React (as a plus)
