PL/1 Developer

For one of our clients in the insurance sector, we are looking for 3 PL/1 Developers to strengthen the IT teams as part of an ongoing digital transformation program.

📍Location: Brussels

📅 Start date: ASAP - Full-time

🌍 Languages: Proficiency in at least one national language: French or Dutch + professional level in English

🔍Your role

You will join an experienced IT team and contribute to the development, maintenance, and evolution of mission-critical mainframe applications.

🛠️ Your responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of applications using PL/I
• Working in a z/OS mainframe environment
• Use of mainframe technologies such as JCL, OPC, DB2, PL/SQL
• Performing technical and functional analysis when required
• Debugging and continuous improvement of existing systems

🎯 Your profile

• Strong expertise in PL/I programming
• Very good knowledge of mainframe technologies and z/OS
• Ability to perform both technical and functional analyses
• Autonomous, structured, and a strong team player
