Role Purpose
The Head of Data & Analytics is responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive data strategy that drives business performance. The role ensures strong data governance, high standards of data quality, and the development of business intelligence and advanced analytics capabilities to generate measurable value across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Set clear objectives, KPIs, and action plans for the data team
- Coach and develop team members, fostering accountability and professional growth
- Encourage innovation, collaboration, and a performance-driven mindset
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, compliance standards, and ethical practices
Data Strategy & Transformation
- Define and lead the multi-year data roadmap aligned with business priorities
- Select appropriate tools, platforms, and technologies to support strategic goals
- Partner closely with IT on system architecture, cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory compliance
- Promote a data-driven culture through training, communication, and stakeholder engagement
Data Governance & Quality Management
- Establish clear ownership and accountability for master data domains
- Implement data quality frameworks focused on accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Develop monitoring tools, controls, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Safeguard data integrity, security, and compliance with applicable regulations
Data Architecture, BI & Advanced Analytics
- Define business rules and maintain structured data definitions in collaboration with operational teams
- Oversee data architecture, including ingestion, storage, and data platform design
- Lead the development of a scalable BI function (requirements gathering, specifications, testing, deployment, dashboards)
- Structure and industrialize data science initiatives such as predictive modeling, forecasting, and segmentation
- Support business units in increasing their data literacy and analytical autonomy

Candidate Profile
- Master’s degree (Business School, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field)
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in controlling, business analysis, IT, or data-related roles, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
- Fluent English
- Strong interest and experience with ERP systems, business intelligence tools, data visualization, analytics, and corporate strategy
- Core competencies: analytical rigor, strategic thinking, pragmatism, autonomy, critical mindset, leadership, and strong communication skills
Reporting Line & Collaboration
- Reports to the Innovation & Transformation leadership within the Transformation & Information Systems function
- Direct management of Data Quality and Business Intelligence leads
- Works cross-functionally with Finance, IT, PMO, Commercial, Marketing, Legal, and external technology partners
