About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Product Owner / Product Manager (Hybrid) to join our client’s dynamic team in Dublin. In this unique role, you will take ownership of the product backlog and delivery priorities, while also contributing to strategic product management activities including market analysis, roadmap planning, and stakeholder engagement.
You will act as the bridge between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring that product initiatives are clearly defined, prioritised, and aligned with organisational goals. This position requires a combination of hands-on delivery ownership and strategic product thinking.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership:
- Manage, refine, and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
- Work closely with engineering, UX/UI, and QA teams to ensure user stories are clear, testable, and deliverable.
- Act as the voice of the customer during sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Define acceptance criteria and approve completed work against defined requirements.
Product Management:
- Contribute to product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategies.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback gathering to inform product direction.
- Work with senior stakeholders to align product initiatives with overall business strategy.
- Analyse product performance data and propose improvements based on measurable outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–6+ years’ experience as a Product Owner and/or Product Manager in agile environments.
- Proven track record managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and delivering high-quality releases.
- Experience in both hands-on delivery and strategic product planning.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies; relevant certification (CSPO, PSPO, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across cross-functional, distributed teams.
