Full Stack Java Developer

We work on a project basis (in the EU and beyond), to this day we have already implemented over 320 projects and currently, we are working on another 45 projects. WHAT WE DO

We are set up to provide our customers with end-to-end support in the process of developing software solutions:

• Business need analysis, design of functional and non-functional requirements, system analysis, support for business transformation and IT/business consultancy;
• User interface and experience design and development for mobile and desktop applications;
• Front and back-end development in a wide range of technologies: Java, .NET, Ruby, GoLang, Oracle, Python.
• Complete Data Warehouse solutions from architecture, design and implementation using mainly Vertica, Oracle and Microsoft platforms.
• Avalanche has been the central counterparty for multiple major banking projects in the Scandinavia and Baltics, in areas such as lending automation, regulatory reporting and calculations, integrations, governance, risk and compliance, Basel II/III, Stress Testing, AML/KYC.

We're an established IT services consulting firm, and we're looking for a Full-Stack Mid-Level Java Developer consultant (typical 4-6 years in role) to join a strong, supportive full-stack team delivering in-house and customer-facing applications + backend services across the three Baltic states, used by thousands of clients.

You'll work on a long, healthy backlog that includes new product launches and technical upgrades, and you'll have space to grow your DevOps skills alongside delivery.

🚀 Java (4-6 years, hands-on): building and maintaining production services and applications.

🚀 JavaScript (4-6 years, hands-on): working on real user-facing functionality and integrations.

🚀 Spring Framework (4-6 years, hands-on): delivering robust backend solutions.

🚀 Proactive, team- and solution-oriented mindset (4-6 years in delivery teams): you spot issues early and move things forward.

🚀 Analytical mindset (4-6 years): you break down complex problems and connect the dots across systems.

🚀 Motivation to learn and stay up to date (ongoing): you keep your skills fresh and relevant.

🚀 Collaboration & communication skills (4-6 years): you work smoothly with Product Owner, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, and Engineers.

🚀 Proficient English (spoken and written): comfortable in day-to-day delivery communication.
