Mobile Automation Tester

BWC is looking for a Mobile Automation Tester for its client in Brussels, Belgium. Its a full time - permanent contract with BWC. Freelance can also apply.

Job Type: Hybrid :- 50% Onsite +50% Teleworking in Belgium.

Requirement:

• Sound knowledge of English is required; proficiency in French or Dutch is considered a significant asset.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Senior QA Automation Engineer (Mobile Focus)
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium (Android/iOS), Selenium-Java, and BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin).
• Define feature test plans and scope, focusing on maximizing automation coverage for both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Seamlessly integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality delivery.
• Monitor product and code quality from inception to release, identifying bottlenecks and ironing out bugs.
• Execute tests across real and virtual devices, providing detailed defect reports with logs and replication steps.
• Ensure the scalability and reliability of automation frameworks while maintaining comprehensive documentation of processes and results.
• Partner with development teams to troubleshoot scripts, prioritize test cases, and identify high-impact areas for automation.
• Proficient in Core Java, Maven, Git, Jenkins, TestNG, and cloud-based testing platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Appium setup and inspection for both Android and iOS environments.
• Strong understanding of ISTQB standards and a mastery of BDD/Gherkin syntax.
