IoT Developer Embedded & Firmware Engineer

We are looking for a IoT Developer Embedded & Firmware Engineer for a project based in Porto (Hybrid).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware in C
• Design scalable and robust IoT architectures
• Work on ESP32 and STM32-based platforms
• Implement and optimize communication stacks and RTOS-based applications
• Produce high-quality documentation (architecture & design)
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with hardware and cloud teams for end-to-end IoT solutions

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in C programming
• Solid experience with ESP32 (Espressif)
• Experience with STM32 (F4 and H7 series)
• Strong knowledge of FreeRTOS
• Experience with communication protocols: UART, I²C, SPI
• Knowledge of networking protocols (IP-based protocols)
• Experience with Zigbee
• Proficiency with development tools: GIT, GCC, and IAR
• Experience following coding standards and producing architecture/design documentation.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Matter over Thread (MoT)
• Experience with Java and/or Python.
