The Opportunity

Our client is a vital industry-union partnership providing essential financial and wellbeing safety nets to over 100,000 members. They are currently embarking on a major digital transformation: the complete architectural overhaul of their bespoke CRM system.

We are seeking a Full Stack .NET Senior Developer with deep Azure and Blazor expertise to act as a technical strategist. This role is about more than just writing code; you will be the architect of a modernised, optimised platform destined for future white-labeling and commercial sale.

The Role

Reporting to the Technology and Digital Manager, you will lead the evolution of legacy systems into a streamlined, high-performance cloud environment.

• Azure Cloud Leadership: Leverage your Azure experience to design and manage cloud-based environments, ensuring scalability and security.
• Legacy Remediation: Systematically modernise existing ASP.NET applications, simplifying codebases and optimising SQL databases.
• Modern Web Development: Develop high-quality front-end and back-end features using Blazor and C#.
• Architectural Design: Define the "Future State." You will own the business architecture design, lowering infrastructure costs through smart cloud-native patterns.
• DevOps & Process: Lead the implementation of end-to-end processes for work, code, builds, and deployments (CI/CD).
• Documentation: Maintain a "source of truth" in Jira and Confluence, documenting data flows and system requirements for internal and partner teams.

About You

You are a "clean code" advocate who thrives in an Agile, UX-oriented environment. You possess the seniority to influence stakeholders and the technical depth to mentor a team toward best-practice cloud development.

• Cloud (Must Have): Proven experience developing and deploying within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• The Core: Extensive experience in ASP.NET (C#) and SQL Server.
• Modern Web: Advanced proficiency in Blazor, HTML5, and CSS3.
• System Design: Background in remediating legacy applications and simplifying complex architectures.
• Process: Deep familiarity with DevOps, Agile/Scrum, and automated build/deployment pipelines.
