Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Coordinator to join our growing team. In this entry-level role, you will work closely with senior project managers to assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of projects. You will be responsible for supporting project timelines, documentation, communication, and resource management, ensuring the smooth delivery of projects across different teams. Responsibilities:
  • Assist in Project Planning: Support senior project managers in creating and managing project plans, timelines, and task schedules.
  • Monitor Project Progress: Track the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are completed on time.
  • Communication and Coordination: Act as a point of contact between different teams (e.g., development, marketing, operations), ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain project documentation including meeting notes, status reports, timelines, and action items.
  • Organize Meetings: Schedule and organize project meetings, including preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Project Tools Management: Use project management software (e.g., Trello, Jira, Asana) to track tasks, resources, and project timelines.
  • Budget and Resource Support: Assist in tracking project budgets and resource allocation to ensure projects stay within scope and financial constraints.
  • Risk Management: Help identify project risks and escalate issues to senior project managers, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Client and Vendor Coordination: Assist with client communication and liaising with vendors to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular updates on project status to senior project managers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Prior experience in project coordination, administration, or internships related to project management is a plus but not required.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with teams and clients.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in tracking project tasks, documentation, and reports.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify potential issues and escalate them appropriately, offering solutions where possible.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proactive: Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to the successful execution of projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Project management certifications such as CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are an advantage, but not required.
  • Familiarity with Agile: Basic understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
  • Experience with Tools: Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Monday.com) is a bonus.
