Job Title: IT Support Specialist – End User Computing (m/f/d) – B2B Contract – Immediate Start – Onsite Vienna


Location: Vienna, Austria (100% onsite – no remote or hybrid option)


Contract Type: Full-time B2B contract (1 year initial term, with strong possibility of extension)


Start Date: Immediately / as soon as possible


About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT professional to join our team in Vienna on a B2B basis. In this hands-on End User Computing Support role, you will provide first- and second-level support to ensure seamless IT operations for our users in an international environment. This is a full-time onsite position with immediate need.


Key Responsibilities

  • First- and second-level end-user support (hardware, software, peripherals, connectivity)
  • Troubleshooting Windows 10/11 desktops/laptops, Microsoft 365/Office suite, printers, mobile devices (iOS/Android), VPN, network issues
  • Installation, configuration, deployment of workstations, software, and updates
  • Hardware diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
  • User account management (Active Directory / Entra ID), permissions, and access requests
  • Employee onboarding/offboarding support
  • Incident documentation and resolution in ticketing system (ITIL-aligned)
  • Knowledge base contributions and proactive identification of recurring issues
  • Escalation of complex problems to specialized teams
  • High focus on user satisfaction, clear communication, and quick resolution


Mandatory Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in end-user IT support, desktop support, helpdesk, or end-user computing
  • C1 level (fluent/advanced) in English (spoken and written) – essential for international teams
  • C1 level (fluent/advanced) in German (spoken and written) – required for daily local user interactions in Vienna
  • Strong practical experience with Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune/MDM tools, and standard business peripherals
  • Excellent troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills
  • Independent working style with strong prioritization in a dynamic setting
  • Must hold valid Austrian work authorization / residence permit allowing self-employment or B2B work (EU/EEA citizenship, Red-White-Red Card, or equivalent) – this position does NOT provide visa sponsorship, work permit support, or relocation assistance


Nice-to-Have

  • ITIL Foundation or similar certification
  • Experience with macOS, AV/conference room support, or basic scripting (e.g., PowerShell)
  • Background in international or professional services companies
