Data Privacy Auditor – Senior & Junior

Location: Remote (Ad-hoc travel to Luxembourg required / 1-3 days on demand)

Contract Duration: 6–12 months

Our client, a leading organization in Luxembourg, is seeking experienced Data Privacy Auditors for a 6–12 month freelance contract. The roles are open for both Senior (7+ years) and Junior (3+ years) auditors with expertise in EU GDPR compliance and data privacy audits. This position offers flexibility to work remotely, with occasional travel to Luxembourg for meetings, audits, or workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct data privacy audits and assessments in line with EU GDPR standards and EU best practices.
• Identify compliance gaps and provide actionable recommendations to strengthen data protection.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enforce privacy and security policies.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and documentation for management and regulatory review.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging privacy regulations and EU standards.

Required Experience – Senior:

• Minimum 7 years in information security roles, with at least 2 years hands-on audit experience.
• Proven experience with audit assignments pursuant to EU GDPR standards and EU best practices.

Required Experience – Junior:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data privacy-related missions, with at least 2 years hands-on audit experience.
• Background in audit assignments pursuant to EU GDPR standards and EU best practices.

Required Qualifications (Both Levels):

• Bachelor’s degree in information security audits or a related field.
• Valid certification in data privacy audits.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
