🧠What You’ll Do

We are looking for a Junior Corporate Actions & Reconciliation Officer to join the Corporate Actions Desk. The role combines: operational processing of Corporate Actions events; analytical reconciliation activities across internal systems and cross-department coordination to resolve operational discrepancies

• Capture and validate Corporate Action announcements accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process mandatory and voluntary Corporate Actions events, ensuring: Compliance with market deadlines; Respect of internal SLAs; Accurate release of information to relevant stakeholders
• Monitor client instructions for voluntary events and follow up when needed.
• Track and verify Corporate Action entitlements and escalate discrepancies when identified.
• Support administrative activities related to securities events.
• Perform daily reconciliation between internal systems and operational tools.
• Analyze breaks and discrepancies identified across platforms.
• Determine the root cause of differences and identify the responsible department (e.g., Securities Middle Office, Cash Settlement, etc.).
• Engage with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution of mismatches.
• Monitor resolution progress and ensure proper closure of reconciliation items.
• Contribute to strengthening internal control processes within the desk.
• Ensure timely escalation of potential operational risks, incidents, or inconsistencies.

🛠️ Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields.
• 1–2 years of experience in Corporate Actions, Securities Operations, or a similar operational banking environment.
• Exposure to reconciliation processes (cash or securities) is required.
• Experience in custody, settlement, or securities processing is considered a strong asset.
• Languages: Fluent French (mandatory); Fluent English (mandatory); Italian is considered a plus
