Enertek Group is partnering with a leading financial services organisation based in Malmo, Sweden, specialising in investment management and digital financial solutions for both private and institutional clients. As part of their continued innovation and AI-driven transformation strategy, they are expanding their advanced analytics capability.


On their behalf, we are seeking an experienced Data Scientist currently based in Sweden to support the development of advanced analytical models that drive business intelligence, risk insight, and customer-focused digital solutions.


This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of data science within a regulated financial environment, contributing to high-impact analytical initiatives that directly influence strategic decision-making and performance outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement statistical and machine learning models for predictive analytics and risk modelling
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, business-focused recommendations
  • Perform feature engineering, model validation, and performance evaluation
  • Partner closely with stakeholders across risk, finance, and product teams
  • Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Support model monitoring and continuous improvement processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and data governance standards
  • Contribute to experimentation frameworks and data-driven decision processes


Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist within an enterprise environment (financial services or fintech preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn; TensorFlow or PyTorch beneficial)
  • Solid grounding in statistics, predictive modelling, and data analysis techniques
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Understanding of model governance and regulatory considerations within financial services
  • Strong communication skills in English; Swedish is advantageous
