- Conducting vulnerability management activities, including identifying, tracking and helping to fix known risks.
- Providing input and approval for security aspects of new software and hardware requests.
- Responding to internal security queries and providing practical guidance to improve cyber hygiene.
- Collaborating with both internal teams and third-party providers (e.g. SOC/MSSP) to ensure alignment on threat detection and response.
- Supporting wider cyber assurance efforts and contributing to ongoing cyber security projects.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in cyber incident response and general cyber operations.
- Exposure tovulnerability management practices and tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Defender, Sentinel, and other Microsoft-based security tools.
- Some experience with Windows Server, Group Policy, and Active Directory is highly beneficial.
- A background working with or alongside an external SOC or MSSP provider.
- A proactive, approachable communicator with the ability to simplify complex issues and influence others to adopt secure behaviours.
