System Operations Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a System Operations Engineer to join our team in Argentina.

About the role:

As a System Operations Engineer, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experience of tomorrow. The role ensures the stability, deployment, and optimization of organizational environments. You will support Windows/Linux environments while preparing for future cloud-based operations.

The company provides cloud-based solutions that enable organizations to prepare, sign, manage, and store agreements digitally. Its platform helps streamline contract workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure secure, legally compliant transactions. The solutions are widely used across industries to replace manual, paper-based processes

Responsibilities:

• Monitor environments for health, performance and availability
• Respond to alerts and resolve issues to ensure reliable operations
• Apply patches, software updates and bug fixes
• Build, use and improve automation across the estate
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including runbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Ensure operational best practices

Requirements:

• Understanding of Linux and/or Windows systems administration
• Ability to troubleshoot issues on systems
• Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation
• Experience working with monitoring, logging and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Splunk, ELK stack)
• Understanding of networking concepts (e.g., IP addresses, DNS, basic troubleshooting)
• Experience with physical servers management (BMC, Ilo, iDrac, IPMI) is a plus
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms is a plus
