Full Stack Developer

We are currently looking to add development capacity in the Investment Business Delivery Team. You will be working with the latest technologies, and will have a major impact on how we can best solve our stakeholder’s problems. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be working in a highly skilled cross functional team, maintaining and developing our cutting edge solutions.

Our team’s focus is building new innovative solutions across the investment and trading areas at NBIM. Our goal is to create a culture of ownership and team autonomy, and to innovate and deliver business value faster and more efficiently. We are focused on delivering software products - not projects – to our internal stakeholders, while allowing for experimentation and innovation.

The position is located in Oslo. Some travel may be required.

What you will do

• Contribute to software development and operating processes of our solutions
• Play an active role in designing, architecting and implementing our software solutions
• Collaborating with end users and other technical teams on development items
• Identify opportunities for leveraging AI in software development and maintenance of solutions.
• Contribute towards a hardworking, high-performing team with a business mindset
• Contributing towards our strategic direction, embracing new technologies and methodologies

We hope you have some of these skills:

• Strong programming skills with 1-3 years as a Software developer:
  • Front-end: JavaScript/Typescript and frameworks like Angular, React, Node.js,
  • Back-end: .NET >Core, Python, SQL
• Experience with public cloud services (e.g. AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience designing and developing APIs
• Knowledge and experience with AWS and serverless computing
• Knowledge of agile software development methodologies
