We’re hiring a Senior Marketing Data Scientist to help shape marketing strategy through experimentation, modelling, and scalable analytics. This is a high-impact role where you’ll partner with marketing, distribution, and product teams to optimise performance, improve profitability, and drive smarter decision-making at scale.
About the role...
As a Senior Marketing Data Scientist, you’ll sit at the intersection of data, performance marketing, and product growth. You’ll design experimentation frameworks, build profitability models, and create scalable data pipelines that reduce manual work and enable at-scale optimisation.
This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical depth, commercial awareness, and the ability to communicate complex insights clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
Marketing analytics and optimisation
- Partner with Distribution and Product teams to identify opportunities to improve performance
- Develop and implement data-driven approaches to optimise user acquisition and campaign efficiency
- Build mathematical and statistical models to improve campaign profitability
- Analyse results from experiments and A/B tests to generate actionable insights
- Advise marketing teams on experimental design and measurement frameworks
Experimentation and modelling
- Design and maintain robust experimentation frameworks
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to support profit growth and performance optimisation
- Challenge outdated practices and introduce pragmatic, data-backed improvements
- Translate insights into clear recommendations for commercial decision-making
Data infrastructure and scalability
- Build and maintain clean, scalable data pipelines and internal tools
- Optimise data processing workflows for efficiency and reliability
- Reduce manual reporting and improve data quality across marketing operations
Communication and leadership
- Present new methodologies and best practices internally
- Communicate complex analytical results clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute analytical perspectives to cross-functional discussions
- Support collaboration across marketing, product, and analytics teams
What we’re looking for:
Technical skills
- Advanced data analysis skills using SQL and R or Python
- Strong statistical knowledge and experience with modelling and experimentation
- Experience working with large datasets in performance marketing, gaming, or related industries
- Familiarity with modern data tools (e.g., SQL-based environments, DBT is a plus)
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a data scientist role
- Background in mobile gaming, performance marketing, or related data-driven industries
- Proven experience structuring complex problems and generating actionable insights
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Experience leading or mentoring a small team is a plus
