About the Job:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Golang Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience building high-performance, scalable distributed systems. You should have a deep understanding of concurrency patterns and a passion for writing clean, efficient Go code to power our financial engine.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance backend services and microservices using Go.
• Design and implement robust RESTful APIs and potentially gRPC for internal service communication.
• Work with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB/Redis) databases, ensuring data integrity for financial transactions.
• Write clean, idiomatic, and maintainable "Go-way" code (utilizing interfaces and composition).
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, leveraging Go’s native concurrency (Goroutines/Channels).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build features for alternate asset investments.
• Participate in code reviews and advocate for best practices in Go development.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience developing and maintaining production-grade applications in Go (Golang).
• Strong proficiency in Go’s standard library, dependency management (Go Modules), and testing frameworks.
• Experience with SQL databases, NoSQL (MongoDB), and understanding of ACID properties in a fintech context.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Good understanding of software development principles, specifically Clean Architecture or Hexagonal Architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in debugging concurrent processes and memory management.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with Gin, Echo, or Fiber frameworks.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud computing platforms.
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ for event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and automated deployment.
