As a Senior Data Architect at Excelra, you will be responsible for defining and driving enterprise data architecture, building scalable data platforms, and ensuring strong data governance, lineage, and security practices. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, performant, and cost‑efficient data ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on enterprise data strategy, including data lake, data warehouse, data catalog, and multi‑tenant architectural patterns.
- Design end‑to‑end data governance, data lineage, security, and cost‑optimization frameworks.
- Define schema design principles, cataloging practices, metadata structures, and data lifecycle approaches.
- Lead the development and continuous evolution of data contracts and schema versioning.
- Partner with engineering teams to implement scalable, cloud‑native data pipelines and analytical platforms.
- Ensure architectural consistency, compliance, and industry best practices across all data systems.
- Evaluate modern data tools, frameworks, and technologies to strengthen platform capabilities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related technical field.
- Strong architectural background with proven experience designing large‑scale data platforms (cloud-native preferred).
- Certifications in AWS, Data Engineering, or Architecture are a plus.
