Overview

• We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Developer (close to Architect level) to design and develop core backend services for ORA, enabling secure cloud integration with SEF using KMIP and Barbican.
• This role demands deep expertise in cryptography, Kubernetes, and secure backend integration using open standards and open‑source technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services for ORA core, integrating with KMS through KMIP for systems like Barbican and Ceph.
• Develop and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure, including CRDs, operators, and controllers.
• Build secure communication layers using TLS and advanced encryption techniques.
• Collaborate closely with architecture and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless multi-layer integration.
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests to guarantee high code quality.
• Provide technical leadership and contribute to backend system architecture and design.

Required Skills & Experience

• Senior-level backend development experience with Java, Golang, or Python.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic concepts (e.g., TLS, data encryption).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (infrastructure + management layers).
• Experience with OpenStack.
• Solid background in testing (unit + integration) for backend services.
• Ability to work with complex, distributed systems and core backend services.
