Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.


Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Data Analyst IV (Senior Business Data Analyst) to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.

 

Contract Period: 10 months with potential to extend

Pay Rate: Starting from $70 per hour

Location: Toronto, ON

Location Type: Hybrid

Business Hours: Monday to Friday; Core Business Hours



Job Responsibilities: 

• Leads sessions with the business to gather requirements and get sign-off

• Produces and maintains Business Requirement Document (BRD), source to target mappings (STM) and other Data Analyst related documentation

• Ensures that project team delivers a data asset that meets business requirements

• Liaises with various teams and stakeholders to get alignment

• Data analysis, data profiling and metadata collection

• Leads UAT activities with business and obtains sign-off

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

• 7+ years experience as a Business/ Data Analyst preferably in the capital markets, finance and Wealth Management domain

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Over 3 years' experience working with Cloud data platform, Azure, AWS etc.

• Experience with data-centric projects delivering the following (preferably within a capital markets or investment banking domain): Master data management, Data integration, building/enhancing Data warehousing or data lake. Big Data environment for analytics

• Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in written form at various levels within the project teams

• Familiar with data model and data warehouse, be able to provide input to data modeler

• Familiar with data ingestion, curation end to end requirement gathering

• Hands-on data profiling, writing SQL queries to analyze, validate data and provide results to business users or project team members

• Hands-on delivering data documentation artifacts in organizations of similar size and complexity within project deadlines

• Experience in major trading platforms, book of record systems, performance management platforms, such as Bloomberg Polar Lake, SimCorp Dimension, Findur, Apex, Eagle, Charles River, Sylvan, Calypso

• Working experience with GenAI is an asset
