We are looking for junior Java developer to join the Platform squad of Alliance Cloud!
Description:
• Participate in the implementation of software components covering design, development, unit and integration testing activities. The application offers Cloud access to our customers and is widely distributed across multiple data centers, with an architecture using micro-services design principles. Replication happens synchronously using Kafka.
• Analyze detailed system and application factors: input/output requirements, information flows, hardware/software requirements, performance, security, etc., with a focus on Docker container and Kubernetes orchestration for operational deployment and monitoring.
• Adopt and enrich as needed the platform layer to enable application-level resiliency, availability and integrity.
• Contribute to design and technical feasibility and propose systems solutions as needed.
• Provide technical assistance to colleagues and assist in resolving problems in order to achieve timely and quality delivery.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and where appropriate, write system documentation and operating procedures.
• Fix issues or problems reported by the integration and qualification teams.
Skills
- Java Development (1–3 years) – Design, development, unit & integration testing of microservices-based applications - MUST
- Microservices Architecture – Distributed systems deployed across multiple data centers (desired)
- Apache Kafka – Synchronous replication and event-driven architecture (desired)
- Docker – Containerization for scalable and portable deployments (desired)
- Kubernetes (1–3 years) – Container orchestration, deployment, monitoring & operational management (must)
- Cloud-Native Development – Resiliency, availability, and integrity at platform level (desired)
- ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Kibana) – Logging, monitoring, and observability (desired)
- System Design & Technical Analysis – Performance, security, hardware/software requirements, and information flow assessment
- Technical Documentation – System documentation & operational procedures
- Issue Resolution & Support – Troubleshooting and collaboration with integration and qualification teams
