Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to join our Product team and drive the development of our FX and trading platforms.


This role is suited to a Product Manager who is hands-on, delivery-focused, and technically capable. You will work closely with engineering teams to translate business and trading requirements into clear, implementable product specifications.


This is not a roadmap-only or ceremony-focused Product role. Candidates must be comfortable working at system level, defining backend logic, calculations, rules, and edge cases, and supporting engineers through delivery.


FX / trading experience is mandatory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own product initiatives from discovery through delivery and post-launch optimisation
  • Translate FX and trading requirements into clear product specifications, logic, and rules
  • Define backend behaviour, calculations, edge cases, and acceptance criteria
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure requirements are technically sound and implementable
  • Validate technical assumptions, estimates, and implementation approaches
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, Marketing, and Data teams
  • Track product performance using KPIs and data-driven insights
  • Continuously improve product functionality, stability, and client experience


Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience, with strong technical exposure
  • Mandatory experience in FX, trading, brokerage, or trading platforms
  • Proven experience working closely with backend and frontend engineering teams
  • Ability to define system logic, workflows, calculations, and edge cases
  • Experience delivering complex, data-driven web or mobile products
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally


Technical & Domain Expectations

You must demonstrate:

  • Understanding of how trading platforms operate (orders, pricing, execution, balances, fees, etc.)
  • Ability to break down complex business requirements into technical product specifications
  • Experience supporting engineers during build, testing, and release phases
  • Confidence discussing system behaviour, dependencies, and trade-offs

You are not required to code, but must be able to reason through technical problems and product logic independently.


Nice to Have

  • Experience with regulated financial products
  • Exposure to analytics, tracking, or experimentation frameworks
  • Experience launching new platforms or scaling existing ones
  • Familiarity with web or mobile product architectures
