Business Analyst

New job alert! We are looking for a hands-on business analyst with project management experience.

We to reduce friction and make cross-border payments more predictable – giving more confidence over if (and when) a payment will reach its destination. The Payment Pre-validation product is a suite of API services which allow the initiator to check and correct data up-front, before the payment is sent for processing.

Responsibilities:

- Create gap-analysis of the Payment Pre-validation Beneficiary Account Verification (BAV) service compared with other similar offerings in the market.

- Write supporting documentation, like functional specifications or test/use cases.

- Perform business tests and document use cases in the developer portal.

- Analyse and track feedback and propose roadmap enhancements when needed.

- Effectively facilitate meetings and workshops while consulting with multiple participants, communicating clearly and adapting to the audience as needed.

- Master the Pre-validation consumer and data provider model in order to assist with project management tasks related to the onboarding of BAV participants.

Examples of relevant knowledge/experience:

- Hands-on experience with the Pay.UK Confirmation of Payee scheme or EPC's Verification of Payee scheme.

- Working on cross-border payments, including related processes, a familiarity with 'Currency Guides', and the correspondent banking model.

- As a debtor agent, investigating delays in crediting the beneficiary account.

- Be able to explain our role, position in the market, and ways of working.

- Be able to explain APIs as a technology and their role within the Pre-validation product.

- Having a basic understanding of financial messaging standards inc. mandatory elements for x-border credit transfers.

- Being a team player with strong interpersonal skills, who can collaborate effectively with regional teams
