Project Manager - ERP Systems

Overview

We are seeking an experienced ERP Systems Project Manager to lead the delivery and implementation of ERP solutions within a manufacturing and distribution environment. This is a key role responsible for managing full lifecycle ERP projects, working closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and senior leadership to deliver business-critical systems.

This position offers the opportunity to play a central role in digital transformation initiatives and drive operational efficiency across manufacturing, supply chain, and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects from planning through to go-live and post-implementation support
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources
• Coordinate internal teams, ERP vendors, and third-party system integrators
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful delivery
• Manage project risks, issues, and change requests
• Oversee testing phases including UAT and support successful system go-live
• Support process improvement and ongoing ERP optimisation

Required Experience

• Proven experience delivering ERP implementation projects
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Infor, Sage, or similar
• Experience managing vendors and third-party suppliers
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience using project delivery methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, or Waterfall

Desirable Experience

• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, or regulated environments
• Understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, or production systems
• Project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM)
