We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer to help build a modern analytics and decision-support platform that combines operational dashboards, conversational AI and machine learning capabilities.
The role sits at the intersection of data, analytics and AI, focusing on transforming business data into actionable insights through intuitive user interfaces, natural language interactions and predictive models.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain operational dashboards using Streamlit.
- Create intuitive user experiences for non-technical stakeholders, including management and operational teams.
- Implement filtering and exploration capabilities across multiple business dimensions such as location, brand, date ranges and operational units.
- Design and develop a conversational AI assistant using Snowflake Cortex AI.
- Enable natural language querying of business data stored in the Gold Layer.
- Build domain-aware prompts and AI interactions tailored to retail and restaurant operations.
- Integrate AI-powered assistants directly into operational dashboards.
- Implement guardrails and access controls aligned with existing role-based security models.
- Generate automated business insights and performance summaries.
- Develop anomaly detection mechanisms to identify unusual operational or financial patterns.
- Build forecasting models for sales performance and transaction volumes.
- Generate narrative summaries and management-ready reporting outputs.
- Develop, train, deploy and maintain machine learning models using Snowflake ML capabilities and related frameworks.
- Manage model versioning, monitoring and retraining processes.
- Collaborate closely with data engineering and business teams to continuously improve analytics and AI capabilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in AI/ML Engineering or Data Science.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Experience building AI-powered conversational interfaces, assistants or chatbots.
- Experience with prompt engineering and LLM-based applications.
- Experience with Streamlit or similar dashboard frameworks.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with analytical data platforms.
- Experience developing and maintaining machine learning models in production environments.
- Understanding of model lifecycle management, monitoring and retraining processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into AI-driven solutions.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Snowflake Cortex AI, including LLM functions, search and classification capabilities.
- Experience with Snowpark Python.
- Experience with Snowpark ML.
- Experience implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions.
- Experience building anomaly detection solutions.
- Experience with time-series forecasting.
- Experience with Scikit-Learn, XGBoost or similar ML frameworks.
- Experience working with retail, hospitality or operational analytics data.
