Lead Developer

Location: Germany (Onsite – 5 Days/Week)

Webmentix Ltd, GmbH is seeking an experienced Lead Developer to drive technical excellence, architectural design, and agile delivery within a cross-functional Supplier Team.

As a Lead Developer, you will be co-responsible for the timely implementation of user stories, defect resolution, and high-quality product delivery. You will also ensure smooth development operations, provide technical leadership, and continuously enable the team to achieve optimal outcomes in a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

• Lead the design and development of scalable, multi-component, multi-language enterprise systems
• Define and implement robust software architecture and design patterns (including MVC)
• Make strategic technical decisions aligned with business objectives
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the development team
• Lead complex technical discussions, solution analysis, and risk management initiatives
• Ensure secure development practices including threat modeling and vulnerability prevention

Development & Delivery:

• Implement user stories and resolve defects within cross-functional agile teams
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software components
• Work with Microsoft-based technologies and SAP systems in enterprise environments
• Develop applications using Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, VB, LINQ)
• Manage database interactions (data storage, retrieval, optimization)
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Domain & Business Expertise:

• Provide deep technical and business expertise in (i)XBRL and related reporting standards
• Apply statistical techniques such as data diagnosis, regression, and correlation analysis where relevant
• Leverage advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel functionalities and underlying technologies

People Leadership:

• Mentor, guide, and grow developers within the team
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance agile culture
• Support peer development and technical excellence
• Handle conflict resolution and complex team dynamics effectively

Communication & Collaboration:

• Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Align technical execution with broader business strategy
• Actively contribute to stakeholder discussions and solution planning
• Drive cross-team collaboration and continuous process improvement

Required Skills and Experience

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and system design
• Expertise in design patterns (including MVC)
• Microsoft .NET development experience (C#, VB, LINQ – minimum 3 years)
• Experience with SAP systems in enterprise environments
• Database technologies (SQL and related platforms)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of security vulnerability types and prevention strategies
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Deep expertise in (i)XBRL and reporting standards

Experience Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in implementing user stories and resolving defects within cross-functional agile development teams
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft-based enterprise environments
• Proven experience leading technical discussions and strategic decision-making
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and grow team members
• Experience managing risks and working in complex system landscapes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Work Model & Eligibility:

• Onsite role – 5 days per week in Germany

• Candidates must have the right to work in the EU

• Immediate availability preferred
