As a Project Manager within our Delivery team, you’ll play a key role in enabling high‑quality delivery. You’ll bring clarity, structure, and momentum to complex work, helping teams do their best work and supporting Ubank’s mission to build the best digital banking experience in Australia.

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline expectations.
  • Define project objectives, success measures, and delivery approaches in partnership with cross functional teams.
  • Develop clear and concise project plans, RAID logs, roadmaps, and documentation to support visibility and alignment.
  • Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and partners to ensure effective and timely delivery.
  • Manage resource planning, allocation, and prioritisation
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Communicate progress, changes, and impacts clearly across teams and leadership.
  • Facilitate effective decision‑making by ensuring stakeholders have the right information at the right time.
  • Monitor and report project performance using appropriate tools and metrics.
  • Maintain high‑quality documentation and ensure compliance with delivery standards.

Your Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering technology projects (HR technology is highly advantageous).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational capability and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple streams of work.
  • Solid understanding of delivery methodologies (Agile and/or hybrid).
  • Strong experience using Jira & Confluence.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office / Office 365.
  • Banking and financial services experience (advantageous).
  • Tertiary education advantageous
  • Certification in Project Management preferred
