Job Opportunity: Java Software Engineer

Role Overview:

We are looking for skilled individuals to join a global payments platform that enables fast, secure fund transfers worldwide. The platform supports supplier payments, salary credits, direct tax payments, and multi-channel money transfers.

This role supports project delivery through high-quality analysis, Agile design artefacts, effective stakeholder management, and deep business insight, all aligned with DevOps practices.

Location: Cracow, hybrid model (office visit 6 times per month)

Type of contract: B2B

English skills: B2/C1

Responsibilities:

• Resolve technical blockers for development teams
• Communicate with technical architects and management on progress and issues
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure quality gates are met
• Prepare production support walkthroughs and release checklists
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Contribute to designing, building, and maintaining distributed containerised platforms

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Development & scripting: Java or Groovy, Bash/Shell, Unix/Linux, Jenkins, GitHub
• Cloud-native & container technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Istio Service Mesh
• Experience building and maintaining distributed, containerised platforms
• Experience delivering CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Agile team collaboration
