About the Role
We are looking for a motivated DevOps Associate to support cloud infrastructure, automation processes, and CI/CD pipelines. This entry-level DevOps role is ideal for individuals with foundational knowledge in Linux, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Git, and containerisation (Docker) who are eager to grow in a fast-paced DevOps environment.
You will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to help improve deployment processes, system reliability, and automation workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines
- Support cloud infrastructure deployment (AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Help manage version control systems (Git)
- Assist in containerisation using Docker
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts
- Support configuration management and automation tasks
- Troubleshoot build and deployment issues
- Document DevOps processes and system configurations
- Collaborate with developers to streamline release cycles
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD concepts
- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS or Azure preferred)
- Knowledge of Linux fundamentals
- Understanding of Git and version control workflows
- Exposure to containerisation tools (Docker)
- Basic networking knowledge
- Strong problem-solving mindset
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to learn and grow in DevOps practices
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Entry-level certification (AWS Cloud Practitioner, AZ-900, or similar)
- Exposure to Kubernetes concepts
- Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
- Internship, bootcamp, or lab-based DevOps experience
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts
