Senior Technical Project Manager – Scientific Data & AI | Vienna

A fast-scaling AI healthtech company, backed by top-tier investors and partnering with leading global biopharma organisations, is hiring a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead a mission-critical scientific data transformation programme onsite with a major pharma partner in Vienna.

You will own delivery end-to-end — from discovery through implementation to production — driving multiple concurrent workstreams across engineering, data, AI, and product teams. This is a hands-on leadership role managing a cross-functional squad of 10, removing blockers, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring measurable outcomes in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Proven experience delivering complex technical or scientific programmes with multiple parallel workstreams
• Background in biopharma, life sciences, or regulated environments - essential domain knowledge required
• Strong Agile delivery expertise and stakeholder leadership skills
• Ability to navigate organisational complexity, influence and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience across cloud, data platforms, or AI/ML deployments

Highly desirable:

• Familiarity with drug discovery, scientific instrument ecosystems, or R&D data environments
• Experience leveraging AI/ML to drive scientific or operational outcomes
• Knowledge of GxP frameworks (GMP, GLP) or regulated IT/digital transformation programmes
• Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master)
