Details of the role and how it fits into the team

The team acts as a link between senior security leaders and the second line of defence for information security risk. It ensures that the first line of defence follows security controls and takes action to reduce risks.

The team also supports the central risk function by reviewing remaining risks, ensuring issues are properly resolved, and keeping information security risks within the organisation’s acceptable level.

Your key responsibilities

• You will be responsible for engaging with Control Owners, predominantly in the Information Security functions, to support the Senior Project Manager in managing the milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.
• You will analyse the Control data, in terms of scope, clear articulation to control performers, support in technical issues with leveraged systems owners and facilitate the resolution of conflicts and challenges.

Your skills and experiences

• You should have 1-3 years of work experience in the Information Security (IS) area with a focus on controls.
• University degree in Information Security or equivalent qualification preferred.
• You should be a good communicator and collaborator, able to influence Subject Matter Experts and engage with managers who are information providers from the first Line of Defence into the processes.
• You should be fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
