1. Job Purpose:
To support the enhancement of HR systems and processes by coordinating HRIS development, maintaining data accuracy, and contributing to strategic Human Capital initiatives.

3. Key Result Areas:
➢ Support the development and maintenance of the HRIS development schedule
➢ Organize demos and testing of HRIS enhancements; collect user feedback and coordinate follow-up with IT
stakeholders
➢ Communicate the functionality of developed tasks through regular engagement with HR service owners
➢ Monitor the deployment of HRIS developments, ensuring alignment with business requirements and expected
functionality
➢ Coordinate and deliver business support for HRIS software and hardware across HBKU
➢ Provide support to end-users, address recurring issues, and ensure continuous system improvement in coordination
with the Lead HRIS
➢ Follow up on implementation of changes to staff records in line with HBKU management guidelines
➢ Provide recommendations for task automation, and support evaluation of automation progress, impact, and
performance from a technology and HR process perspective
➢ Utilize ERP data to review, develop, and maintain HBKU management reports
➢ Ensure ERP data accuracy through continuous updates and data quality reviews
➢ Report on HRIS project progress (weekly/bi-weekly) and highlight key achievements or delays
➢ Assist in the consolidation and management of HR data within the HRIS; support the development and refinement of
HR system workflows, policies, and processes; recommend improvements to enhance data integrity and system
efficiency
➢ Support the preparation and consolidation of the annual HBKU business plan and objectives in collaboration with
stakeholders and under Strategic Planning Directorate guidelines
➢ Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc reports
➢ Ensure data privacy and system security are maintained in accordance with organizational policies and relevant laws
➢ Conduct gap analysis to identify system or process inefficiencies
➢ Analyze trends and best practices in HR technology to inform HBKU decisions and strategic planning
➢ Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor
4. Operating Environment, Framework & Boundaries:
Work is performed in a standard office environment. May occasionally be required to carry out job-related tasks outside the
office and outside of normal working hours. Must comply with HBKU’s health, safety, and environment policies, as well as
applicable legal regulations relevant to the area of responsibility
5. Communications and Working Relationships:
➢ Supervisor – frequent contact to provide updates and receive guidance and approvals
➢ HBKU IT and HR end users – frequent contact to understand customer needs and ensure smooth implementation of the
HRIS plan
➢ HBKU Finance – contact as needed during preparation of annual budget and for the review of management information
reports

7. Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
➢ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
➢ 6-8 years of relevant full-time work experience, 2 of which at a supervisory level
➢ Hands-on experience with HR information systems (ERP platforms) such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar
➢ Strong understanding of HRIS functionality and data management practices.
➢ Understanding of system testing, feedback collection, and performance evaluation techniques
➢ Experience coordinating with IT teams and system vendors on system enhancements or automation projects.
➢ Certification in HR systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) or project management
➢ Strong general knowledge of HR concepts, processes and how they interrelate
➢ Excellent project management, time management and planning skills
➢ Excellent analytical skills to assess different situations while implementing HRIS Plans
➢ Very good interpersonal communications, customer service, and organizational skills
➢ Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to
articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
➢ Proficiency in MS Office applications
