Job Title :- IT Project Manager

Contract Duration :- 1 year

Location:-Qatar

Project Management Services

• The project management services will be performed under the supervision of the DBS Programs Lead. The estimated duration is 18 Months. These services include (but are not limited to) the following:
• Project planning, scheduling, and budgeting
• Risk, issue, and change management
• Stakeholder engagement and communication
• Quality assurance and compliance
• Project reporting and documentation  Vendor management
• Use of the PMO standard tools and templates (ServiceNow PPM, SharePoint, etc.)

Delivery Methodology

Projects will primarily use PMI framework for project management and the Waterfall methodology. Agile or hybrid approaches may be adopted based on approved governance processes.

Team Integration

• CONTRACTOR resources must integrate seamlessly with COMPANY PMO, SMEs, and stakeholders. On-site presence is mandatory unless otherwise approved. Collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint) will be used, with regular meetings scheduled.
• Resources from the CONTRACTOR need to integrate seamlessly with the COMPANY PMO team to collaborate efficiently with the PMO team, SMEs, stakeholders, and other vendors.
• On-site presence of all the CONTRACTOR required resources is mandatory to better facilitate communications with the project teams and different stakeholders.

Senior Project Lead Qualifications

• The Project Manager must have a combination of skills to ensure the successful delivery of the project’s scope within the established budget and schedule.
• The project manager requires exceptional organization skills to manage resources according to the implementation plan, with proven problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

• In addition to general management tasks, they will be responsible for the following activities: Prepare budgets, schedules, scope, risk, and resource plans
• Engage stakeholders and maintain effective communication
• Align deliverables with business goals and IT strategies
• Assess and escalate risks promptly for mitigation
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and resolve conflicts
• Maintain risk and issue registers
• Ensure timely status reporting and documentation
• Facilitate change requests and communicate impacts
• Coordinate development of training materials and user documentation
• Conduct post-project evaluations

Senior Project Lead Key Qualifications Mandatory:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project/program management
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies
• PMP and/or PRINCE2 certification
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency in Word/Excel/PowerPoint for analysis and reporting
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Demonstrated expertise in core PM processes including detailed planning, progress reporting, risk and issue management, and change control
• Proven experience managing vendors and third-party suppliers to deliver project scope
• Ability to perform business analysis tasks such as requirements gathering and documentation, and support change management activities including impact assessments and stakeholder readiness

Preferred:

Experience in oil & gas and/or digital transformation projects

Proficiency in ServiceNow PPM module for project tracking and reporting

Exposure to delivering projects across multiple solution types including infrastructure, applications, and data initiatives

Nice-to-Have:

Advanced certifications in Agile or portfolio management

Programme and/or Project Management Office experience
