We are currently looking for a Full-Stack WordPress Developer (PHP + React) to join a project for an international music software company specializing in high-quality virtual instruments and software synthesizers that emulate classic analog gear.
Within this collaboration, the SCIMUS team is responsible for developing and maintaining a WordPress-based e-store for distributing virtual instruments and emulations.

We are currently looking for a Full-Stack WordPress Developer (PHP + React) to join a project for an international music software company specializing in high-quality virtual instruments and software synthesizers that emulate classic analog gear.
Within this collaboration, the SCIMUS team is responsible for developing and maintaining a WordPress-based e-store for distributing virtual instruments and emulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Extend WordPress functionality (CPT, taxonomies, ACF, REST API, Gutenberg)
- Customize and enhance WooCommerce features
- Build a scalable React UI and integrate it with WordPress REST API
- Optimize performance (database queries, frontend performance, code quality)
- Debug and resolve PHP, WordPress, and React issues (including production bugs)
- Follow coding standards and maintain clean, modular code
- Use Git in daily workflow and participate in code reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide task estimations
- Independently deliver medium-complex features
- 2+ years of commercial experience as a WordPress Developer
- Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugin architecture
- Solid experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Commercial experience with React
- Experience in custom theme and plugin development
- Understanding of MySQL and WordPress database structure
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Experience with Git and basic CI workflows
- Knowledge of performance optimization and WordPress security best practices
- English level β B1
- Experience with SEO best practices and analytics tools
- Experience with page builders (Gutenberg, Elementor, etc.)
- Familiarity with ACF or similar custom fields tools
- Experience with WooCommerce
- Understanding of accessibility (a11y) principles
