Team
The role sits within the Eurazeo Capital investment team, which is Eurazeo’s flagship strategy, investing into European and North American opportunities across Technology, Healthcare, and Financial Services sectors. The intern will support the investment team in London, contributing to a broad range of projects ranging from deal origination, investment execution, and portfolio monitoring. Working together with the investment team members, the intern will gain exposure to the investment process and have a chance to get involved in review and evaluation of transactions.
Responsibilities
- Financial modeling: Contribute to building financial models, including business plans, operational models, and LBOs, working closely with the investment team
- Deal execution: Provide support during due diligence during live deals, coordinate with advisors and consultants, and assist in drafting Investment Committee Memorandums
- Deal Sourcing and screening of investment opportunities: Conduct in-depth market research, competitive landscape evaluations, expert calls with Industry professionals and assessments of business models to help identify and evaluate investment opportunities
- Portfolio monitoring: Contribute to ongoing portfolio companies’ reporting and performance analysis
Key Success Factors
- Solid academic background: pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top ranking University
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter and independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Keen interest in investing and financial services
- Demonstrated knowledge of corporate finance & accounting fundamentals
- Previous experience in finance or strategy consulting
- Fluency in English is mandatory
- Right to work in the UK is required for this position (visa is not sponsored)
