Iteration Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Iteration Manager / Scrum Master to support Agile delivery across a major Guidewire transformation program. This role will be responsible for driving sprint execution, enabling high-performing delivery teams, and ensuring Agile practices are effectively embedded throughout the Guidewire implementation lifecycle.

The successful candidate will bring strong Agile delivery experience within large-scale Guidewire programs, with the ability to work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and program leadership to ensure consistent delivery outcomes.

Contract Summary

• Rate: Based on experience
• Contract Length: Initial 6-month contract (potential long-term extension)
• Work Model: Hybrid
• Location: Sydney or Melbourne

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile delivery as Iteration Manager / Scrum Master across Guidewire delivery teams.
• Facilitate sprint ceremonies including planning, daily stand-ups, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support the team in delivering sprint commitments and removing delivery impediments.
• Drive Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and delivery consistency across the program.
• Partner with Product Owners, delivery leads, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of priorities and outcomes.
• Track sprint metrics, delivery progress, risks, and dependencies across the transformation.
• Enable collaboration across business and technical teams in a complex enterprise environment.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an Iteration Manager or Scrum Master on large-scale transformation programs.
• Strong Agile delivery expertise across enterprise technology implementations.
• Demonstrated experience working on Guidewire transformations (essential).
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced delivery environments with multiple workstreams.
• Experience supporting cross-functional technical delivery teams.
• Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, or similar) highly regarded.
