Job Description - Manager [Release Management]

**Banking/Fintech experience is mandatory**

Job Objective - Flow agent for product organisation. Facilitate and enable Agile way of working, leveraging innovative tools and technologies, and aligning with strategic objectives.

Strategic -

Event Scope Definition: Clearly define the scope, objectives, and outcomes of Agile (Preferably SAFe) events, sessions, and workshops along with the stakeholders and leaders.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Extract data from tools like Jira, Jira Analytics and Confluence to generate insightful reports and metrics for management and leadership. Kanban and CFD analysis for uncovering behavior patterns of teams.

Product Portfolio Program and Release Management: Ensure that the product portfolio, program and team alignment for Release Management.

AI and Python Scripting: Leverage AI and Python to create impactful messages and tools that enhance enablement effectiveness and right messaging.

Operational -

Work Breakdown and Timelines: Break down initiative tasks into manageable components and create realistic timelines for execution along with the facilities and crew members.

Full Kit Creation: Develop comprehensive event kits, including materials, logistics, and support resources.

Tool Integration and Support: Collaborate with Release Manager, Release Anchors, teams, modules, DevOps, and external tool specialists to ensure effective use of tools like Jira, Jira Analytics, Confluence, and others. Understanding tool reports and way of working patterns.

Coaching: Coaching individuals and teams on process, tools and full kits created for enabling flow. Enable lean way of thinking for leaders and teams.

Graphic design tools: Experience of creating, engaging content with right message using Canva, Adobe photoshop

Financial -

Budget Planning: Develop and manage budgets for initiatives, ensuring they are executed within limits and constraints without compromising quality.

People -

Leadership and Team Collaboration: Foster collaboration and alignment between leadership, teams, and enablement functions.Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with leaders, facilities teams, crew members, and other stakeholders.Strong Writing and Editing: Create impactful messages, videos, and mailers that resonate with leaders, modules, and teams.Visual Design: Understand user experience (UX) from the receiver's perspective and create visually appealing materials.Storytelling: Craft engaging events, messages, videos, and emails using effective storytelling techniques.

Qualifications -

Agile Certification: Possess a Leading SAFe certification to demonstrate expertise in Agile methodologies. Or any other equivalent Agile certification or Kanban Certification.

Agile Experience: Have experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) and applying Agile principles to event management.

Excellent facilitation as well as written and verbal skills.

Experience with several agile project management tools (Jira, VersionOne, Rally, etc)

Exposure to leverage AI and Python for portfolio enablement and facilitation

Work experience in Banking or Finance Domain is preferable.
