The Role

As a freelance developer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our software applications. You will act as a technical sparring partner for the editorial and design teams, ensuring seamless technical execution.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Programming high-quality software applications.
• Proposing trending software solutions and applications best suited to functional and technological needs.
• Modeling, testing, and integrating solutions into the online environment.
• Monitoring systems for corrective and evolutionary maintenance.
• Managing and coordinating workshops, project documentation, and knowledge transfer to the development team.
• Ensuring software meets non-functional requirements (quality, security, performance, scalability, maintainability, etc.).
• Maintaining constant dialogue and providing support to the editorial and conception teams.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an independent freelancer who can work autonomously while collaborating effectively within an agile team.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Core Tech Stack: Strong experience in modern web development with JavaScript / TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Frameworks: Experience building applications with Next.js, Astro, or similar modern frontend frameworks.
• CMS: Proven experience working with Content Management Systems (e.g., Strapi, Jahia, or comparable platforms).
• Frontend Fundamentals: Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern styling approaches (responsive design, component-based styling).
• Integration & Tooling: Experience consuming/integrating REST APIs and familiarity with build tools (NPM, webpack, Vite).
• DevOps: Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Maven modules, Nexus).
• Databases: Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL).
• Mindset: Affinity for agile development methodologies and the ability to work independently.

Nice to Have:

• Hands-on experience developing specifically with Strapi.
• Experience designing content models and improving the editor experience.
• Knowledge of Server-Side Rendering (SSR).
• Experience working in multi-site or multi-tenant platforms.
• Strong understanding of web security best practices.
