Junior Security Specialist Roles and Responsibilities:

Our client is seeking a motivated Junior Technical Specialist – Security Support to join their Endpoint Security team, reporting into the Head of Security Operations and supporting security services across the organisation


What is involved:

  • Support and administer security technologies that protect business applications and IT services
  • Assist Senior Security Specialists with endpoint security operations
  • Respond to incidents and problems efficiently, documenting lessons learned and prevention measures
  • Support technology deployments and build new security infrastructure
  • Maintain and promote security policies, standards, and awareness
  • Contribute to Cyber and H&I project initiatives
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned


What you need:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in IT, preferably within Cyber Security
  • Strong understanding of security technologies and best practices
  • Knowledge across multiple security domains (e.g., privileged access management, identity & access management, network security, endpoint security)
  • IT degree or equivalent qualification
  • Experience developing and improving processes, plans, and playbooks
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
