Responsibilities
- Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Guide teams in applying Agile values and principles to improve collaboration, efficiency, and delivery discipline.
- Lead projects of moderate scope, taking responsibility for delivery outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Work directly with clients to understand their needs, capture delivery requirements, and shape appropriate Agile approaches.
- Identify impediments and work proactively to remove blockers, ensuring steady team progress.
- Support the Product Owner with backlog organisation, prioritisation, and requirement clarity.
- Track delivery metrics, support capacity planning, and ensure teams maintain predictable and sustainable delivery.
- Contribute to best practices, reusable assets, and Agile delivery standards across the organisation.
- Assist with business development activities such as proposals, solutioning, and client presentations.
- Build and maintain strong professional networks across client teams and internal stakeholders.
- Document and share learnings related to new Agile methods, tools, and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM‑I/II), or equivalent Agile certification.
- Additional Agile delivery qualifications (SAFe, Kanban, ICAgile, PMI‑ACP) are desirable.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to promote open discussion and collaboration.
- Skilled in identifying, analysing, and helping resolve delivery issues or impediments.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain Agile concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Ability to support time management and planning for yourself and within your team.
- Comfortable coaching teams and contributing to evolving Agile maturity.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and structured problem‑solving.
- Ability to work in dynamic client environments and manage expectations diplomatically.
- 2–5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery professional.
- Experience leading Agile teams through end ‑ to ‑ end delivery cycles.
- Exposure to client ‑ facing delivery, including workshops, requirements discussions, and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms.
- Experience applying a consistent set of Agile practices to solve common team challenges.
- Background in consultancy, digital transformation, software delivery, or organisational change is advantageous .
