Data Analyst (AI & Automation)
Location: Cork
Role Overview
As a Data Analyst on my clients team, you will be the engine behind their data-driven finance strategy. Your mission is to move the Finance department away from manual spreadsheets and toward automated, AI-assisted workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Architecture & Strategy: Maintain and optimize financial data structures to ensure accuracy in professional fee reporting and budgeting.
- AI-Driven Automation: Implement AI tools and develop AI-assisted workflows to automate documentation, reporting, and repetitive finance tasks.
- Full-Stack Analytics: Design, build, and maintain internal tools and lightweight applications to provide real-time financial visibility.
- Statutory Compliance: Build automated pipelines for local statutory and tax processes, ensuring high-fidelity data for financial statements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with Technology teams to integrate SAP data into advanced visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI
Key Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is a major plus, as you must understand the "why" behind the numbers.
- Analytical Toolset:
- Tableau, Power BI, and SAP.
- Proficiency in SQL or Python is highly preferred for building custom dashboards and data cleaners.
