Exacaster's Genesis team is looking for a Senior Project Manager - Team Lead to join our team.

About the role:

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager - Team Lead who can manage project execution and team performance. You'll be responsible for end-to-end delivery of AI/ML implementation projects - from defining delivery approach and priorities to ensuring successful completion - working with international clients who expect excellence.

You'll lead multiple projects ranging from smaller pilots to complex enterprise implementations in a dynamic, cross-functional, and multi-cultural environment. This role combines project management, product ownership mindset, and team leadership. You'll need to balance disciplined project execution with strategic thinking while leading technical teams to achieve ambitious goals.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and delivery teams, ensuring alignment on project objectives, delivery commitments, and stakeholder expectations
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans (scope, timeline, budget, resources) while prioritizing deliverables based on business value
  • Lead Agile ceremonies and processes: sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and stakeholder workshops to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Lead cross-functional technical teams including AI engineers, data scientists, architects, and analysts - assign tasks, set expectations, and monitor delivery
  • Make prioritization and trade-off decisions balancing scope, quality, timeline, and business impact
  • Track project progress against milestones, identify dependencies, and proactively address blockers
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while managing project budgets (cost tracking, forecasting, billing)
  • Prepare and present project status reports, delivery metrics, and business outcomes to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure quality standards and contractual obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle

We are looking for a person who has:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, Business, Project Management, or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or delivery leadership roles in B2B technology environments
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects in Agile environments on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Strong project management discipline with product ownership mindset—understanding both "how to deliver" and "what creates value"
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Solid experience leading cross-functional technical teams
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management frameworks
  • Strong analytical and business thinking - ability to use data and metrics to guide decisions
  • Financial management capabilities (budgeting, cost tracking, billing)
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, MS Project, Confluence, or similar
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Fluent in Lithuanian and English, both written and spoken
  • Proactive, results-oriented approach with strong sense of ownership and leadership presence

Nice to have:

  • Experience delivering AI, ML, or Data Science projects
  • PMP, PRINCE2, CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner), or similar certifications
  • Experience in telecommunications or financial services sectors
  • Understanding of data engineering concepts (data lakes, cloud architecture, ETL pipelines)
  • Background in technical or business analysis
  • Experience mentoring or coaching team members

We promise:

  • Monthly salary for this position from 4500 EUR gross to 7500 EUR gross for a full time role
  • Participation in the company's stock options program
  • Flexible Benefits & Personal learning budget
  • 10 Growth Days per year - dedicated time for learning and development
  • Ownership and responsibility in your role
  • Hybrid work environment with preferably at least 1 day per week in the office
  • All the support you need from our experienced team to become an even better professional
