Cable Technician

Copper Cabling Engineer | £250 - £300 p/day | Contract | 3 Months | Switzerland | EU Citizen and English Speaking (Essential)

Our client is seeking an experienced Copper Cabling Engineer for a 3-month project based in Switzerland, with strong potential for follow-on projects. Engineers will work in 2-week continuous rotations, followed by agreed rest days. Reasonable expenses will be covered. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, termination, testing, and commissioning of structured copper cabling systems within data centre environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A copper structured cabling systems
• Termination of copper cabling (RJ45, patch panels, outlets)
• Installation of containment systems (tray, basket, trunking, conduit)
• Testing and certification of copper links using Fluke or equivalent testers
• Fault finding and rectification of network cabling issues

What We Are Looking For:

• Proven experience in structured copper cabling installation
• Strong termination and testing experience
• Experience working in data centre environments
• Valid EU passport (essential)
• English speaking (essential)
