About The Role
We are seeking a talented Unity Developer to join our dynamic team and play a central role in bringing our mobile games to life across iOS and Android platforms. Reporting directly to the Lead Unity Developer, this role involves implementing core game features, developing systems, and collaborating closely with designers, animators, and artists to create engaging and polished gaming experiences. The ideal candidate will be involved throughout the entire development lifecycle—from initial prototyping to live operations—ensuring optimal performance, seamless gameplay, and an outstanding user experience. This position offers flexibility to work remotely or at our state-of-the-art offices located in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will have a passion for mobile gaming, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code that elevates the quality of our games.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Interactive Media, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in mobile game development using Unity.
- Proven track record with at least 2 shipped mobile game titles, with references or a portfolio to showcase work.
- Deep understanding of Unity components, including UI, animations, asset management, prefabs, and audio systems.
- Strong proficiency in C# programming, with knowledge of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
- Experience with both 2D and 3D game development.
- Familiarity with profiling tools and techniques for performance optimization.
- Experience working with WebSocket or API-based client-server communication.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills across multiple platforms and devices.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Lead the development and implementation of mobile games utilizing Unity, targeting both iOS and Android platforms.
- Collaborate with designers, producers, artists, and other developers to translate game ideas into engaging, polished experiences.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable C# code to build game features and mechanics.
- Optimize game performance across various devices using profiling tools to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues, including crashes, performance drops, and platform-specific problems.
- Contribute to build, deployment, and release processes to ensure smooth updates and live operations.
- Implement UI components, animations, visual effects, and gameplay features using Unity’s tools and systems.
- Maintain high code quality through peer reviews, comprehensive testing, and documentation practices.
- Participate actively in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Foster a collaborative environment by sharing knowledge, supporting team members, and continuously improving workflows and tools.
