Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Provide Level 1 support for routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues
- Configure and maintain VLANs, IP addressing, and basic routing
- Assist in firewall rule implementation and VPN configuration
- Perform network patching and cable management
- Support network hardware installation and upgrades
- Document network configurations and procedures
- Escalate complex issues to senior network engineers when required
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Experience with Cisco or similar networking devices
- Understanding of routers, switches, and firewalls
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- CCNA certification (preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in network support
- Exposure to firewall technologies (Palo Alto / Fortinet / Cisco ASA)
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
