Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Provide Level 1 support for routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices
  • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues
  • Configure and maintain VLANs, IP addressing, and basic routing
  • Assist in firewall rule implementation and VPN configuration
  • Perform network patching and cable management
  • Support network hardware installation and upgrades
  • Document network configurations and procedures
  • Escalate complex issues to senior network engineers when required

Required Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
  • Experience with Cisco or similar networking devices
  • Understanding of routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCNA certification (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in network support
  • Exposure to firewall technologies (Palo Alto / Fortinet / Cisco ASA)
  • Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
