RINA is currently recruiting for a South Asia Pacific HR Generalist to join its office in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia within the Global Human Resources Division.
Mission
The HR Generalist will support the overall operations of the Human Resources, including but not limited to full cycle recruiting, training, employee relations, employee engagement, administration of benefits, HRIS administration, and a wide range of HR generalist duties as needed.

Mission

Key Accountabilities
Employee Engagement & Recognition Programs:
- Drive and monitor the success of employee engagement and recognition programs to foster a high level of employee morale.
- Perform HRIS data entry and utilize HRIS and other systems to ensure accurate data maintenance, approval of changes, and efficient processing in a timely manner.
- Assist the Talent Recuiting Team in managing the talent acquisition process for assigned requisitions, as required.
- Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews, when Talent RecruitingTeam is not present in the cluster.
- Maintain the organization structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
- Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies; assist in enforcing policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements, company initiatives, and organizational goals.
- Attend and actively participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Coordinate the planning and preparation for new hire orientation and other onboarding activities.
- Manage both active and inactive employee personnel files and I-9 documentation, ensuring compliance with federal and state law requirements.
- Oversee data associated with learning and development through the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Assist the HR Team in company communication, including email communication and maintenance of the employee SharePoint site.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Finance Management or Economics
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in human resources.
- Knowledge of HR processes, compliance, and best practices.
- Recruitment experience with engineering, consulting or professional services field strongly preferred
- Ability working in and pulling data from an HRIS preferred
- Knowledge of relevant HR labor laws and regulatory requirements
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
